The Rising Tide Program in the Georgia Tech College of Sciences develops promising scientists for the academic job market and careers as faculty members. Georgia Tech faculty mentors submit nominations for candidates who show potential to contribute as faculty members within the vibrant scientific community in the College of Sciences and beyond. Selected nominees will participate in a two-year mentoring and training program, with further opportunities to engage with the scientific research community at Georgia Tech.
Rising Tide participants are currently selected by nomination from a faculty member in the College of Sciences. Questions about the Rising Tide program may be addressed to Program Director, Professor Alexander Robel.
