Coming soon: ScienceMatters, a podcast from the Georgia Tech College of Sciences.
Yes, there is plenty of high-performance computing, robotics, cybersecurity, and aerospace engineering going on at Georgia Tech, and all of it is world-class. But Georgia Tech is also very much about curiosity-driven discovery, much of which happens in the College of Sciences. That’s why we’re launching a podcast, ScienceMatters, hosted by Renay San Miguel and others.
This podcast’s mission is to pull back the curtain on the research in the College of Sciences. We want to tell you about the very cool science happening here — not just in our labs and in our interdisciplinary programs, but also with other groups in the U.S. and worldwide, and with funding agencies like NASA, the National Institutes of Health, and the National Science Foundation.
It’s important work that is just as, if not more, important as who’s got the next killer financial technology app. Not that there’s anything wrong with killer financial technology apps, but we think you also need to know about the College of Sciences’ research. It may affect you. It may change your view of ourselves, our planet, our Solar System, our universe.
All that research is made possible by top-notch brainpower within the College of Sciences. Thanks to our award-winning faculty and our enterprising students, you’ll have the benefit of expert opinions on the latest scientific discoveries and trends.
We’ll make it fun, compelling, never boring. We’re after “Wow” and “Aha” moments, brought to you from busy North Avenue in midtown Atlanta — by one of the top public research universities in the world.
Alert me when you launch! or Tell us what you would like to hear about.
