Will Gutekunst, associate professor in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Georgia Tech, co-leads the interface of polymer science and wood-based materials initiative along with Blair Brettmann at the Renewable Bioproducts Institute (RBI). 

Below is a brief Q&A with Gutekunst where he discusses his research focus areas and how they influence the interface of polymer science and wood-based materials initiative at Georgia Tech.

In a break from tradition, Explore students will live and learn in apartment-style dorms during the 2024-2025 school year. Berry, a Chemistry Ph.D. student, is one of 40 students in the U.S. to receive the Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship awarded to emerging leaders in computational science. She is the sole student from Georgia Tech to earn the distinction this year.
