Research Study Finds Unexpected Interactions in Formation of Secondary Organic Aerosol in Atmosphere
Nga Lee “Sally” Ng, Love Family Professor in Georgia Tech’s School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, and School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, leads a new study investigating the formation and properties of secondary organic aerosol from the nitrate radical oxidation of two common monoterpenes, compounds found in many plants.
